When this card showed up in their mailboxes, all my relatives wondered who this Hudson dame was.  They'd find out soon enough, when I married her.

The piece parts came from vidcaps, which by this time could be made in color.  I scanned two playing cards, a king and a queen, and pasted them together.  Jade's face and mine were pasted onto the rest.  The letter "C" and the diamond were home made also, which was a tortuous process with the .gif manipulators available at the time.
