When I called home to Cleveland to wish the family a Merry Christmas, I videotaped my end of the call.  You are looking at a vidcap, as they say. It is in black and white, which is all the technology could bear at the time.  The idea was to let them see me after the fact. Nowadays, of course, Internet videophones are common, and the calls are live.
